Nithya Menon is doing an experimental movie, which is going to be a first of its kind in Mollywood. The actress has been roped in to play the lead role in a film titled ‘Thalasamayam Oru Pennkutty’, which is about a girl whose life is aired live on a television show without her knowledge.
“The T.K Rajeev Kumar film will have script from Manuel George and Sunny Joseph. The movie will also have Shweta Menon playing an all important role. The project is set to hit the floors very soon,” say circles close to the development.
Throwing light on the movie’s story, they say, “The script revolves around the life of an innocent village girl who is unaware that she is living in a television show that is broadcast throughout the world, with millions watching it.”
The director felt that Nithya Menon would fit well to the role and when he approached her with the script, she immediately said yes, considering its novelty and the importance of her role, sources add. Nithya Menon is popular in Tamil with ‘Nootrenbadhu’ and ‘Veppam’.
